Coach Kris Anglin grew up in Bakersfield, California with a love for the game that started early and never let go. He developed his skills on the diamond throughout his youth, eventually playing at Frontier High School before going on to Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas.
His dedication paid off when he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 16th round. He spent a year in their organization before being traded to the Detroit Tigers. Now he brings that rare combination of professional experience and hometown roots back to Bakersfield, pouring everything he learned into the next generation of players.
Kris is a man of deep faith who loves the Lord with all of his heart and is passionate about sharing what Jesus Christ has done in his life. That faith is the foundation of everything he does on the field, driving his commitment to develop not just better baseball players, but young men of character, courage, and purpose.
When the cleats come off, Kris cherishes time with his fiancée Nicholette, his brother Kail, and the family that has always been his greatest support. Whether he's out on the golf course or sharing his faith with those around him, he brings the same heart and enthusiasm to everything he does.
