Matt Garnett

Coach Matt is a Bakersfield, CA, native. He spent his playing days at Stockdale High School, Bakersfield College, and Sonoma State University. He was also a two time draftee with the Baltimore Orioles as a pitcher. Professionally, Matt is a Health and Safety Supervisor for C&J Well Services. Matt’s pride and joy is his beautiful family. He and his amazing wife, Stephanie are raising their two wonderful children, Conrad and Isabel. Coach Matt truly enjoys teaching the game of baseball to young players. He hopes for all his players that he can pass along his knowledge of baseball, but also be a positive influence in their lives so they grow into bright, strong minded and kind human beings.
