Coach Trace is a native of Bakersfield, CA, he spent his playing days at Centennial HS, Bakersfield College, and Avila University. Professionally, Trace is the US Sales Manager for GEO Drilling Fluids. He also serves as a Board Member for Californians for Energy and Science. Trace is beyond blessed by a beautiful wife Jackie, and two sons, Jacob, and Andrew. Coach Trace loves to share the life changing gift of Jesus Christ!
Coach Kris is from Bakersfield, California he graduated and played at Frontier High School, and then went to Howard Junior College in Big Spring Texas. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 16th round,and then played for one year with the Braves, and was traded to the Detroit Tigers. Kris is now a free agent as of March and is planning on signing with a new team and playing in the spring of 2024. Kris enjoys going golfing with his friends and brother in his spare time.
Coach Walker is a native of Bakersfield, CA, he spent his playing days at Bakersfield HS, Bakersfield College, and Avila University. Professionally Eric is a Sports Chiropractor and is Co-Owner of Active Life Chiropractic. Eric is married to his beautiful wife Stacie. They are blessed with three children, Makenzie, Colton, and Carson.Coach Walker enjoys sharing his love of baseball with the players and watching them develop their passion for the game.
Coach Mando was raised in Los Angeles and has lived and served in McFarland, CA for the last 30 years. Professionally, Armando is a safety management for Ridgeline Oil and Asphalt Co. Armando is married to his beautiful wife Nirva. They have (5) wonderful children: Armando, Alexis, Xandria, Manny and son-in-law Alex.
Coach Mando and Nirva are also blessed to have (5) grandchildren: Allison, Alex, Audri, Armando and Adam.
Coach Carson is from Bakersfield, CA where he played at Frontier High School and Southwestern College.
He is currently a Business Administration major at CSUB and hopes to graduate in the Spring. Carson enjoys golfing, working out, and still enjoys playing baseball on the side. Coach Carson loves being involved in helping the next generation of kids reach their full potential!
Coach Martinez is a native of Bakersfield, CA. He spent his playing days at South HS, Bakersfield College, and Oral Roberts University. After college, Coach Martinez was taken in the 2009 MLB draft by the San Francisco Giants. He played two minor league seasons with them before continuing his playing career in several Independent Leagues around the U.S. Coach Martinez finished his career playing his last 7 seasons in the LMB (Mexican Baseball League).
Coach Boren was raised in Bakersfield and played baseball in the community from his youth through the collegiate level. He played for Stockdale High School, Bakersfield College and California State University of Bakersfield. He has coached baseball for 14 years, including Bakersfield College (2011-2012), CSUB (2013-2014), South High (2016), Centennial High (2017-2018) and has been the head varsity coach at Frontier High School since 2019.
Brandon and his wife, Kelsey have been blessed with 2 children, Braydon and Abigail.

Coach White grew up in the community he serves, playing multiple sports including baseball for various recreational leagues, travel/club organizations, and all-star teams. Coach White played high school baseball at Centennial (Bakersfield) and college baseball at UCLA. He coached high school baseball for 12 years including as head varsity coach at South High School (2010-2014) and Frontier High School (2015-2019) before stepping away to focus on his own children. Coach White is currently a high school Special Education teacher. Garett's wife, Brittany and
the game of baseball and mentoring young men. His desire is to be obedient to Jesus by saying “yes” to serving His kingdom however that may be.
Coach Matt is a Bakersfield, CA, native. He spent his playing days at Stockdale High School, Bakersfield College, and Sonoma State University. He was also a two time draftee with the Baltimore Orioles as a pitcher. Professionally, Matt is a Health and Safety Supervisor for C&J Well Services. Matt’s pride and joy is his beautiful family. He and his amazing wife, Stephanie are raising their two wonderful children, Conrad and Isabel. Coach Matt truly enjoys teaching the game of baseball to young players. Alec joined the CBU baseball staff as an assistant coach in July of 2023 and served as an assistant coach for one year. Before that, Alec served as the Director of Offensive Development at Campbell University in Buies, North Carolina. Prior to joining the Campbell staff, Olsen was an assistant coach at Bakersfield Baseball Academy for two years. During that time he also worked as an assistant strength coach at GrindHaus Strength and Conditioning. Olsen had a lengthy collegiate career as a middle infielder that began at Phoenix College from 2015-17 where he
Brain was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. He developed a love for baseball at an early age. He played on various little league teams growing up and continued on to play at Bakersfield High School and Bakersfield College. During his time at BC he won various awards including first team All-State California JUCO and MVP. While attending BC Brian was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1992. Brian played the outfield for the Eugene Emeralds and the Wilmington Blue Rocks. While playing for the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 1996 the team won the Carolina League

Brian returned Bakersfield where he opened
the Bears reach the D2 Juco NJCAA World Series. He then played at Taft College from 2017-18
and rounded out his career at Post University from 2018-20 where he graduated with a degree in sports management.

Professionally, Coach Reed is a high school teacher at North High. He teaches behavior intervention, and
has taught computers, English, and Special Education in the past. He taught 8 years at Taft Union High
School where he was also a varsity baseball head coach for 5 years. He has taught 5 years at North High
where he also coaches varsity football, QBs and OLBs.
Anthony has been married 10 years to his incredible wife Hali and they have two sons, Vance 9, and Finn
4. He loves working with kids and teenagers and helping them grow academically, emotionally, spiritually,
and athletically. Coach Reed also enjoys working out, camping, hiking, and listening to audiobooks.
Coach Hunter was born and raised in Bakersfield and played baseball through college. He has played for Independence High School, Bakersfield College and is currently playing professionally for the Bakersfield Train Robbers. He has coached for 4 years and has been the JV head coach at Independence for the last 3 years. He also coached for 2 other club teams located in Bakersfield.
